Carlos Camargo, MD, DrPH: Principal Investigator
Dr. Camargo is the Principal Investigator of the CHIME Study and the founder of the Emergency Medicine Network (EMNet) at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Camargo has been researching respiratory and allergy diseases for over fifteen years, with a focus on improving the treatment and prevention of asthma. Dr. Camargo is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School for Emergency Medicine and a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Kohei Hasegawa, MD, MPH, PhD: Co-Investigator
Dr. Hasegawa is a co-investigator of the CHIME Study. His research interests include airway and respiratory emergencies, as well as healthcare use for asthma. Dr. Hasegawa is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and attending physician at the MGH Department of Emergency Medicine.
Ashley Sullivan, MS, MPH: Project Coordinator
Ashley coordinates the CHIME Study and is the Director of the EMNet Coordinating Center. She works on a variety of projects, from large multicenter studies like the CHIME Study to brief patient surveys. As the mother of two young children, she has personal experience with bronchiolitis and breathing problems.
Catalina Gallegos: Project Coordinator
Catalina is a Project Coordinator at the EMNet Coordinating Center. Catalina works on many different aspects of the CHIME Study, including working with the participating sites and working with the staff at EMNet to keep the study up and running.
Elie Mitri: Project Coordinator

Geneva D. Mehta, MD: Research Fellow
Geneva is a Research Fellow. Geneva works on the CHIME Study’s review of medical records.
Janice Espinola, MPH: Statistician
Janice is a Biostatistician and Epidemiologist at the EMNet Coordinating Center. For the CHIME Study, Janice analyzes the data collected from participants to understand trends in the relationship between different diseases and childhood microbiomes.
Shelly Qi, MPH: Statistician
Shelly is a Biostatistician at the EMNet Coordinating Center. For the CHIME Study, Shelly analyzes the data collected from participants to understand trends in the relationship between different diseases and childhood microbiomes.
Marie Labella: Payment Manager
Marie is the Payment Manager at the EMNet Coordinating Center. In the CHIME Study, Marie manages the compensation of participants for their time and effort.
Nicole Herrera: Senior Research Coordinator
Nicole is a Senior Research Coordinator at the EMNet Coordinating Center and manages the medical records for the CHIME Study.
Vanessa Cardenas: Research Coordinator

Sabrina is a Research Laboratory Assistant and processes biospecimens for the CHIME Study.
